Review
The Qatar embassy project in Brussels (Belgium) is another high-profile embassy project that is supplied with limestone from Portugal, in this case the Moca Creme Classic limestone. At the date of publishing of this article (June 2014), the project is still under development, but the pictures above can already show what it will become.
This project involved the supply of mostly Moca Creme Classic limestone for all the exterior cladding applications. In addition, it was used on most interior coverings (rounded and straight), flooring and some decoration. On the interior applications, it was often combined with Basaltina black stone from Italy, while on the exteriors was combined with Irish grey limestone.
The final outcome is a wonderful project where the beauty and unique vein of the Moca Creme limestone is used at its full potential. This is without doubt a reference project done with this limestone.
